|Mortgage Processor Duties/Responsibilities: •Perform daily proactive pipeline management. •Provide direction to team members on what tasks need to be completed t meet critical deadlines. •Manage a pipeline of loans and all activities involved with those loans. •Restructure, re-price and resell transactions that do not meet underwriting guidelines. •Audit conditions prior to file submission to underwriting. •Assist clients with loan level questions and concerns. •Help support the call center. •Review reporting to target loans in the pipeline that need special attention. •Assist with loan scenario and pricing questions for potential customers. •Deliver clean, complete and accurate files to both underwriting and closing. •Originate loans on an ad hoc basis as needed. Mortgage Closer Duties/Responsibilities: •Review files to verify that all information; documents, dates; names and vesting are accurate to close. Confirm and schedule the loan(s) closing between the settlement agent and the client/borrower. •Upload loan information from OES into the document preparation system. Ensure program codes are correct. Manually input or move data as necessary to ensure that OES and Guardian document preparation system balance. •Print loan file and audit to ensure proper documents printed. Review documents and amend as necessary. Prepare documents to forward to settlement agent per guidelines; e.g., via overnight or e-mail. •Coordinate closing with settlement agent. Verify and balance figures with settlement agent. Verify closing conditions to be met by settlement agent. Contact client/borrower with final closing figures and any other documents underwriting is required to bring to closing. •Prepare loan figures and required documentation for funding and forward file to funding desk for delivery of funds to settlement agent. •Review final HUD with settlement company and authorizes funding, and transfers final HUD to funding desk for balancing. Qualifications include: •Candidates must have a minimum of 3- 5 years experience in a fast paced, team oriented, high volume production environment. •Experience processing or closing all loan types (conventional and government). •Experience processing or closing in multiple states. •Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent.
