Merit Financial Defies Recent Home Loan Market Trend

Customers to Benefit from a Centralized Home Buying and Refinancing Process

In a softening home loan market that has witnessed many cutbacks as a result of declining residential finance transactions, Merit Financial, Inc. has concluded an unprecedented year of profitability and growth, requiring the company to purchase new corporate headquarters in Kirkland, just east of Seattle. About the Building

The purchase of Merit Financial Center, which Ryan Kadletz of GVA Kidder Mathews brokered on behalf of Merit and procured from Michael R. Mastro and Stavros Anastasious, will allow the company to keep pace with its growth projections, as well as create room to house state-of-the-art industry technology that provides Merit Financial with a competitive edge. Local architecture firm Freiheit & Ho built out the shell of the building to fit the dynamic needs of the company and design firm Interior Environments created an interior motif that accentuates the company's brand identity. The Kirkland headquarters includes a fitness facility, a full deli complete with juice and coffee bars, and a 220-person auditorium that is divisible into three separate conference rooms. All divisions of Merit Financial, including Production, Processing, Underwriting, Banklines, Compliance, Operations and Administration, will occupy the two floors of the building.
