Brokers Applaud Kemp, Cisneros For Making Housing Reform Top Priority

The National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) commends a bipartisan group of housing experts for issuing a joint call to address and remedy the nation�s housing problems. The group, including former Democratic HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros and former Republican HUD Secretary Jack Kemp, advocates tax incentives and expanded funding in a proposal that seeks to find solutions to chronic homelessness, barriers to affordable housing, and predatory lending.

�NAMB has always felt that housing issues in this country should not be subject to partisanship, but are important to everyone in our nation,� said NAMB President Bob Armbruster. �All Americans aspire to safe, decent housing and we support this group�s objective of finding solutions to the housing problems this country faces.�
