HFF Chicago hires Bill Mitchell as managing director in Note Sale Advisory Group

HFF (Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P.) is pleased to announce further growth to its Note Sale Advisory Group with the addition of Bill Mitchell as managing director in the Chicago office.

Mr. Mitchell will focus on sourcing debt and note sale opportunities with a focus on distressed debt sales. He has more than 22 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and most recently served as managing principal at Lake Forest Advisors, LLC where he was the sole proprietor of a firm that advised clients on distressed and non-performing loan acquisitions/dispositions and unique, time-sensitive real estate financings. Prior to that, he held a position as a managing director at DebtX/The Debt Exchange for three years and a director at ContiFinancial Services Corporation for six years. Mr. Mitchell has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor`s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois.
