Out of more than 290 firms that were nominated, fifteen finalists were included in five categories (small, medium, large, new and heritage.) Winners were announced at the 14th annual event held in November at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seattle.

Stay In Home was recognized in both the medium and new business categories, and having just incorporated in 2006, the company was the youngest to make an appearance amongst the honorees.

Firms are judged on their innovative business strategies and practices, performance, family and business links, contributions to community and industry, multi-generation family business involvement and longevity.
