Shore Mortgage Recruiting Additional 100 New Employees - First 150 Jobs Filled, Current Needs Include Underwriters, Loan Officers and Support Staffs

Shore Mortgage, a full service mortgage company offering new mortgages as well as refinancing services, has four locations throughout the Detroit metropolitan area. The company continues to be among the largest government guaranteed and insured mortgage originators locally in Michigan as well as nationwide.

Recently, President Bush passed the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, a provision of which increases the FHA maximum loan amounts nationally, purchase and refinance. The new higher loan amounts will now help service those in need of mortgage relief with rates of around 6%.

Today, Shore President, Robert Rahal, announced the company is seeking to hire an additional 100 new employees in several capacities including underwriters, loan officers and support personnel. This will increase the organization's total employment numbers by approximately 30%. Last August the company advertised for personnel. All positions were filled, and with today's new mortgage limits and ARM conversions, the need for qualified persons is important to note.

Counter to the industry trend toward downsizing and layoffs, Shore Mortgage, established in 1984, shows a consistent growth pattern and is seeking new employees including bilingual persons (Hispanic, Asian and others) to service its past, present and future clientele. Positions are available in Birmingham, Dearborn Heights, Roseville and Taylor with training to be completed in the Birmingham office.
